Honoring and Remembering Programs
Ways to honor and remember your loved one
PROMOTing HEALTHY COMMUNITIEs through artwork
The Richard Lambert Foundation Grief & Healing Center has extended our ministry to inspire healthy minds, bodies and spirits in the communities we serve and live in.
Creating artwork following a loss can be very therapeutic, helping you to express and release your own painful, stressful emotions that are too difficult to put into words. Art can bring on a physiological relaxation response, allowing you to express extreme emotions in a safe manner.
- Pre-registration is required and suggested at least one week prior to start date
- Groups are for adults ages 18+
WEAVING LOSS INTO YOUR LIFE - In this 3 week group you will create a special weaving keepsake that helps share memories, images, words and characteristics of your loved one. In the group you find the comfort and support of others that are experiencing similar losses while gaining helpful information through shared discussion facilitated by our licensed counselor on healthy ways to weave your grief into your life. Weaving is a positive and creative outlet for you to express your grief. As you engage in the weaving process our hope is that you will experience the calming and therapeutic benefits of weaving and having the support and understanding from others in the group.
