8th Annual A Life to Remember 5K Run/Walk
New name, new venue……Same Great Cause!
The "8th Annual" A Life to Remember 5K, formerly known as the Turtle Trek is set each year in September. The race, hosted by the Richard Lambert Foundation is a fundraiser to benefit adults and children in our community who have suffered the death of a loved one, by providing free grief support programs and low-cost counseling services.
Join us with your family and friends in remembrance of your loved one or to support those who have lost their loved one on Saturday, September 14th at the Adams County Fairgrounds located at 9755 Henderson Rd, Brighton, CO 80601. The event is a wonderful reflection of coming together for one purpose, in honoring our loved ones. Our hope is that you have a great experience and will come back to race with us again.
Thank you for supporting us in furthering our mission of providing care, support, and essential resources to bereaved children and adults, allowing them to create a foundation for hope, healing, and survival.

Turtle Trek Reviews
"I had a great experience and enjoyed the Turtle Trek last September. The Richard Lambert Foundation and team did a great job with the race and made it a very nice morning. I invited my friend to run the Turtle Trek, it was one of her first races, and now she's running all the time and has completed many races since, including a half marathon. I'm looking forward to another great race this year. Hope to be bringing a lot of my running friends and I encourage all of you to do the same."
“This was our first year and we LOVED it! It seemed very well organized, everybody was super sweet and encouraging and the location is beautiful!”
“We thought that it was a great event for a really important cause. Thank you for all of the hard work you and your team put into caring for our community and families.”
“Thank you for a great event, it means more than you know!”
In 2013 the Richard Lambert Memorial 5k Run/Walk Turtle Trek was established as an organized event.
