How much do your support services cost?
All Richard Lambert Foundation support services are free of charge. The Grief Center is a nonprofit organization and our free programs are provided and sustained by donations, grants and fundraising.
How much do your counseling services cost?
Richard Lambert Foundation provides affordable grief support to children and adults who are experiencing grief, trauma, and emotional distress. Reducing financial barriers for care, the Grief Center offers a sliding fee scale with rates starting as low as $10. We believe everyone should have access to Grief Care. Is there a wait list?
Not at this time.
Do I need to have insurance to be seen?
Richard Lambert Foundation does not accept insurance at this time. We serve the uninsured, low income families, families facing financial difficulties and the inability to afford copays and deductibles and any individual regardless of income.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, checks, Venmo payments, and flexible/health savings cards.
How long after the death is a family required to wait before calling?
As soon as you are ready, you may call. We believe each person and family grieves differently, therefore allowing you to be the best judge of when you are ready.
Do you provide individual therapy/counseling for children and teens?
Yes.
