Creative Expression Programs
Inspiring healthy minds, bodies, and spirits in the communities we serve and live in.
Creative expression following a loss can be very therapeutic, helping you to express and release your own painful, stressful emotions that are too difficult to put into words. Creative expression can bring on a physiological relaxation response, allowing you to express extreme emotions in a safe manner.
Facing the mourning
Facing the Mourning is part class, part support group, part personal discovery, a program designed by Heartlight Center. This in-person series will guide you through honoring, processing, and creating milestones through your grief. The group is an interactive support program open to all types of losses.
Attendance and Building trust
Participants must commit to attending each week of the six-part series. Each session builds upon the previous week with shared experiences, activities, and stories. Consistent weekly attendance is essential for structured support and for participants to establish trust and connection with their group members.

Journaling Your Thoughts
Working Towards the Future
The cost is $40 per participant and includes the facing the mourning manual. Class size is limited to 10 and will be held each Friday from 4:30 - 6:00 pm.
