A common misconception after the death of someone special is that grief should be “over” within a certain amount of time. The reality is that healing takes years. Those who are grieving must learn to carry their loss in new ways throughout the rest of their lives; there is no “getting over it.”
Because grief is lifelong, support must be available beyond the early days of loss. Your annual partnership helps ensure continuity of care, allowing us to walk alongside children and adults as they navigate life without their loved one’s physical presence.
